And the historical 64 yard field goal by the Broncos. 8)

I thought it was 63 yards, but on a night when my team only won with field goals and a second-year kicker to do it.

No, 63 yards was the old record made long ago.

Yes, it was set four times: By Tom Dempsey of the New Orleans Saints (with the aid of a special shoe) in 1970, Jason Elam of the Denver Broncos in 1998, Sebastian Janikowski of the Oakland Raiders in 2011, and David Akers of San Francisco 49ers in 2012. So yeah, 64 yards is indeed, the new gold standard in field goals! :D

Jeez, my step-dad won't stopbabbling that the Chiefs made it to the playoffs.

I really can't wait for rugby season now.

@#$%, the Seahawks lost at home to the Cardinals. First home loss for Hawks since Christmas eve 2011........ you know what? It doesn't bother me. All good things must come to an end, but we will be back next week!

UGH! :x The Bears had the perfect chance to clinch the division with Detroit eliminated and the Packers losing, but no! They allow themselves to get crushed by the Eagles!

That was the most pitiful God-awful performance by the Ravens at home, ever.

Regarding that Seahawks loss: It shows me how life tends to kick me in the groin at times (which is why I don't have a GF yet, on a semi-related note).

True story: After that game ended, I developed a headache. I decided to take a nap and take some Advil, and when I woke up a few hours later........ GONE!

And last night was the final game for Candlestick Park.

I was stunned upon hearing the Cards beat the Seahawks. At home no less. That should've easily been at least a 10-point game but it goes to show that nothing in the NFL is certain.

What makes me sad is the Cards could go 11-5 and still not make the playoffs.

So the Packers just got Aaron Rodgers back for this week. Which likely means they own the division.....again.

Doesn't worry me. I got a good feeling we got the last game. The Seahawks can't lose now!

Week 17. Who would have thought that all four NFC divisions would still be in doubt on the last game of the regular season?
