I find that the more spicey foods I eat, the more trouble I have with anger. It may sound strange but I have kept food journals and found a connection. Super "B" vitamins from Wal Mart and good vitamin "D" pills help me with my anger and falling asleep.

When I eat too much or eat processed foods that stick in my gut, my anxiety increases. My theory is that my digestive system sends too many signals to my brain.

It could be that spice in your gut is irritating the tissue and your brain is responding with anger.

Ayurveda has been saying this for quite a while - hot spices aggravate pitta, which can result in anger. Ayurveda also says that sour foods tend to aggravate pitta, while sweet foods and non-sour dairy (no yogurt) bring pitta down to healthier levels.

I find that chillies cheer me up when I'm sad, but my panic attacks have stopped since I've changed my diet to brown rice, boiled chicken or fish raw cane sugars, little/ no dairy, no red meat, no additives, no mustard, no honey, no chillies. So I don't know...maybe they were affecting me?

I used to have panic attacks 20-30 times a day, and even in my sleep. I was really really ill. I could not function. At least I think they were panic attacks. I've been diagnosed with panic disorder so I assume they were.

in theory yes. But if your nervous system and digestive system is a bit out of whack because of an ASD, then the classic ayurvedic reactions and connections may not apply.

I eat spicy food and chilli sauce on everything just about. It soothes me and relaxes me and does not aggravate me.

Same here. On the other hand, highly processed food is poison for me.

Same here, no problem. If I have a stomach issue, I won't eat really hot stuff, but generally the hot stuff didn't cause the stomach problem in the first place.
