As typical with someone who has AS, they are really into some particular subject. Mine, strangely enough, is baseball. I've never played the sport before, nor have I ever gone to a professional or college game in my life. Yet, with professional baseball (MLB), I get really obessed with the history and standings. I even catch myself copying the box scores! Last year, I even did a annotative bibliography on Baseball history for my US History AP class.

Anyone a baseball fan out there?

I am a big baseball fan. I could watch baseball for a long time. I tend to get more caught up with the fortunes of my favorite team, the Boston Red Sox, more than anything else. During the summer of '78, I was really obsessed with the Red Sox--my mood that day was determined by whether they won or lost the previous night, and I took their '78 collapse really hard. Of course, I was on cloud nine when the Red Sox went all the way in 2004--I let out a big cathartic yell after Keith Foulke flipped the ball to Mientkiewicz to throw out Edgar Renteria for the final out. I love baseball because it is a slow and leisurely game, no time limit, and because it is quintessentially American.

Hey, that is awesome. I'm a San Francisco Giants fan. I follow them dearly and get disgusted when they lose. Barry Bonds rocks my socks, BALCO or not.
