I've recently become involved with a club that does outdoor activities. So I've done things like hiking, mountain biking and mountain boarding.

Does anyone like the more outdoor or "extreme" type of sports/activities. (Inc. Gorge walking, surfing climbing etc)??

:)

I take flight lessons and got my motorcycle license about 2 months ago. Do they count?

I hike and rollerblade around my neighborhood when the weather is reasonably good, oh and cycle. Not too extreme, unfortunately.

I love the outdoors and would say that mountain hiking has probably been my main special interest since I was in my early 20s. For the last several years, I've been working on reaching the highest point in every US State. Up to 45 out of 50 and have plans to spend a month in the Pacific Northwest this coming summer in the hopes of getting to the top of Oregon, Washington, Wyoming and Montana. If successful, that would leave me with "only" Alaska's Denali to go. :)

I wish I did more of this. Primitive hiking and camping is fun. Canoeing and some kayaking is something I used to do more often and miss greatly. Whitewater rafting is an absolute blast. I really wanted to take up snowboarding, but don't have easy access plus I have a tendency to try things that I shouldn't combined with being relatively clumsy, and I don't want to spend the time with a broken something or other. Mostly though, I jog through wooden areas. It is calm and peaceful.

Kiteboarding! it can be as sedate or extreme as you want. i do a bit of mountainbiking and climbing too. The most dangerous though would be skateboarding, a great method of tenderising your meat...
