I have been taking these digestive pro-biotic capsules by Trunature. I take one capsule each morning about 30 minutes before eating breakfast and they have definitely been getting rid of most of my chronic gastritis symptoms, but they do not get rid of them completely. I was recently looking into trying out digestive enzymes as well and just today I bought these papaya enzymes made by Spring Valley. They are supposed to promote digestive health and they were cheap so I thought what the heck and bought them. The label reads that the serving size is 4 tablets. Has anyone tried these before? Do they work? Would I take all 4 tablets at once before or after a meal? I was thinking I could split them up and take say 2 tablets after breakfast or 2 tablets after lunch or dinner, but I think I shouldn't take more than 4 tablets in total in a day. They are supposedly all natural, but I am still researching to verify this. I am also wondering if it is alright to take one digestive pro-biotic capsule and four digestive enzymes in the same day? I don't think they would have a negative effect on each other in any way, but I have been searching all over online and some people do this, but don't go into detail as to how it makes them feel. Anyone on here have digestive issues that have tried these before? I would greatly appreciate the help.

i would take the digestive enzymes one before each of the three meals and one before a snack. their purpose is to help you digest food, so take them with food. or if you don't have a snack and eat a big dinner, take two before dinner.

Link below

The Vitamin Shoppe

^^LINK^^
I take these every day and have done so for years.

I have horrible stomach problems because of heavy antibiotic treatments for Lyme.
Before I found these, I could only eat bland food or meal replacement bars. Now. Bring on the pizza and wings.

(I put all the "pointers" to the link 'cause I can NEVER find them myself after I've posted them )

Hey thanks guys. I took just 1 digestive enzyme only about 5 minutes before eating and that was a mistake! I still feel nausea and a general feeling that something isn't right. My stomach feels upset and I had to run to the restroom for a sudden bowel movement. I am sure this is because the enzymes were absorbed into my blood stream since I decided to take one before eating rather than after eating. I kind of feel stupid for doing this because of how I feel now. I will just start taking them after meals from now on. Has anyone on here ever felt strange taking them before eating? I am supposed to take 4 tablets of these chewable Papaya enzymes and I feel terrible after only taking 1, but I guess it is only because I am supposed to take them after meals.
