I went for a run and worked out for the first time in like 10 months. My method of unwinding after I workout is rather unconventional. I make myself a protein shake, I put on this song (Sleep- Dragonaut), and I enjoy a fine bowl of marijuana. I'll keep doing stretches for the next ten or fifteen minutes, then after that I shower. Then that's the end of my post-workout routine.

I always end runs and jogs with a cold shower and falling onto nice, soft sheets in bed for awhile.

I like to shower and watch a movie. I prefer to smoke a bowl pre workout instead of after because I can feel my muscles and it feels really nice ha.

I walk a bit slower than I was walking previously. When I get home, I take an immediate shower. I don't run anymore because of my bad knees. I walk about a 14-minute mile.

After a workout I usually do a long cool down of about 1/4 of what my workout was, I need to because of my body build that is high maintenance (short tendons). I also drink a bunch of water to rehydrate, or drink something hydrating with electrolytes, stretch some, and maybe an hour or so later eat a nutritious snack to help start the repairs going sooner.

I am no health/nutrition expert, but I noticed I recover sooner and with more flexibility/less stiffness when I do a full cool down and eat food that helps repairs and drink water to help detox.
