True self love... Is way more difficult than just mere self compassion and forgiveness.

True self love is a strange form of intrinsic drive, one that requires reaching authentic selves' depth.

But in theory the same drive as how a loving parent supposed to do everything unconditionally for their own child, except directed at self.

And is distinctive from narcissist types of self love; one that is conditional (keeping up with self image or/and ego's fragile identification).

I think it can be yes. Some people eat for comfort, instead of being truly hungry. Eating can function as an emotional crutch, especially for depressed people.

Agreed. It's one thing to deal with being f****d up, but it's harder when you feel like you're both f****d up and alone in being f****d up.

My anxiety has gotten so bad. Earlier I was crying in a coffee shop because my tap to pay wouldn't work and even though the barista was super nice my anxiety was through the roof. (I was still able to pay by giving my card number)

Have all my concious , life always sourced alternatives to doctor prescribed medicine . Usually started with the name of the drug. And loved understanding how it did what it did in my body . Many times would find that the active ingrediant in it was based on a plant or a herb. Then looking at other ingrediants making up the med could figure out through more research , if parts of the tablet or capsule was made from filler components ( silica ) etc. that did nothing but helped bind the pill together ? or ? just filler. Then after sourcing the active ingrediant, would read about dosages and possible adverse( bad) reactions . Then potential another ingrediant might have been added to pump up the effect of the active ingrediant. And study on that one . This maybe tedious to people but if you are in need and your back up supply dwindles..you may in some cases, find suitable substitutes , (or maybe just reasonable). or close approximations to "get you through the thin times". (( Just a Thought Offering )).. 8O

I was told that the band took the first word of their name from that pharmaceutical. But I may have been lied to. Still, the singer does sound a bit wired to me.

I can see how too many dexys might make one more prone to running at odd hours. :nerdy:
