Today my therapist told me that there is a positive choice and a more negative choice to make in any given situation

But I find that hard because I go for the choice that makes me feel most alive

So is that positive or negative
Idk

In my opinion, a choice that makes you feel more alive is positive, all other things being equal. Unless your blood pressure is at risk of going dangerously high.

I think positive vs. negative and which option makes one feel the most alive are two different axis.

One's black and white, the other is orange and blue.

I wonder what makes people prefer one colour over another? There's the Luscher colour test but it's said to be rubbish and it fell into disuse. I had a girlfriend once who did the test on me but I didn't think much to the results. She was into a lot of mumbo-jumbo like theosophy and a special kind of homeopathy that Rudopf Steiner or his mates invented.

I like cream but I like a lot of other colours as well. It was simpler when I was a kid. I liked red and didn't much like anything else.

I couldn't stand even to look at red as a kid

When I was in a car at lights I used to have to put my hand in front of my eyes so I couldn't see the red

I don't have to do that now

Oh and I can taste yellow when I see it so I hated that as well when I was a kid but I can tolerate it now

Sometimes if I do something that makes me feel good I think that's not always the best decision because it might hurt other people
