I am wondering: can people be OFFICIALLY diagnosed with BOTH Autism and Avoidant Personality Disorder?

I bet I would. I avoid people because of a lifetime of hurts and regrets. What's the difference?

I am diagnosed with AvPD, and reading the symptoms there seems to be a lot of cross overs, like with a lot of disorders I suppose. I imagine it must be hard to pull apart the root cause of the symptoms. Personally I don't think anyone has spent enough time talking in depth with me to properly diagnose me. Partly my fault though as some things I feel I can't talk about; fear of judgement, which is ironically a symptom of it.

I took an online test for AvPD and it says I have it. Who knew?! Then again, I hope I'm not becoming obsessed with labels.
