Sometimes I find myself getting really down on myself because of some quirky personality traits that probably derive somewhat from my ADHD, particularly the ones that lead to me appearing quite a bit young for my age. I'm in my mid-twenties, and I still get mistaken for a high schooler, and although all of my friends are pairing off on relationships and a few people have begun to show some interest in me, I'm still totally clueless and ambivalent about romantic stuff. Then I turn on Blink 182's "What's My Age Again," and although all the lyrics don't all directly translate (I've never been much of a fan of crank calls or other crazy pranks, for instance), the spirit of the music makes fun of those issues in such a friendly way that I can't help cracking up at it and at myself for feeling sorry for myself. I'd like to compile more of these songs, songs that can be helpful in laughing about issues that people with ADHD run into on a regular basis. That way I, and anyone else who wants to join in, can have a whole playlist for when we're feeling down on ourselves.

EDIT: Although I knew the gist of the song, I didn't realize the lyrics had that much swearing (Hey, you can miss particular words when listening to music! ). I removed the video from this post.

I have both aspergers and add, so I totally get where you're coming from. Certain songs remind me of my aspergers like mad world from tears for fears and the middle by jimmy eat world. One song that describes my add pretty well would be dumb by nirvana, where I feel so lost when I'm not paying attention and I'm happy.
