Has anyone tried to force their mind into fantasy before bed? To really try to imagine and sort of plan out their dreams?

For instance tonight I'm going to be the first cybernetic human being, and go on to develop all sorts of advances in technology, develop portable fusion reactors, nanobionic modifications to human cells allowing a person to change their appearance, body ect. create a matrix like virtual reality where anything is possible.

The way I see it, such intentions will do more for you if you just let your mind go there

so far I've only been able to muster semi-lucid dreams. I guess I need help to make them fully lucid.

I usually do something like that in order to fall asleep, but during a dream I will excuse anything and everything without question, and never actually realize I'm dreaming. I hardly remember what happens when I'm awake, so I rarely remember dreams whatsoever ...

If you can control your dreams then that's called lucid dreaming. Millions of people try to lucid dream every ight so it's a gift not a syndrome.

I do this as well. Sometimes I listen to binaural beats or hypnosis before I sleep. I remember my dreams often and strangely enough they are usually not what I am thinking about before I actually fall asleep.

Back when I sleep and dreamt I could control or let the dream lead and when you know your dreaming and let it lead your subconscious can fill you desires better than your waking mind.
