Honestly, do I sound hateful? I'm not trying to be. I'm honestly just asking how LGBT people feel.

Yes, it's outspoken, but i'm trying to be clear.

I don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings or anything.

btw it's not like you're all innocent either (I mean posters on this site in general)

I read the locked thread and I'm trying to put it in perspective. I guess it's like asking someone born in Alaska if they consider themselves American even though Alaska is not physically connected to the majority of the states. I'm obviously reaching, but it goes without saying that Alaskans are Americans and to think othewise would be naive and insulting.

I think it is your wording.. and your "anyways...yeah"

Also lots can be read into why you are posting such posts in the first place. Never once in my life has your post even occurred to me... gay or not - they are men. Just as lesbians are women who love women.

Regardless of our sexual orientations anyhow - we are all beings. Aspie/NT/Gay/straight. Those facts do not change fundamental facts about ourselves. In the long run ego does not make you the being you are.

I would find a more constructive thing to be curious about.

Sorry - my two cents.

Well the first one got locked because you said you 'abhored' homosexuality, but then claimed that you thought it was OK which was a little confusing. The second one was locked because it sounded as if you were suggesting that gay men aren't 'real' men.

From your posts there and others I've read you seem to be a young man who is trying to learn what it means to be a man, and how to gain respect and behave honourably. Your questions are often a little vague, which is perhaps because you are not sure exactly what you are asking.

There is no one correct way to be a man: what is considered correct in one country or culture is incorrect in another. It is something you have to figure out yourself, and it will be influenced by your family, your experiences, your faith, culture and location. You have to decide what sort of man you wish to be and go from there - and of course, that idea might change as you get older. Gaining respect is equally difficult, not everyone admires or appreciates the same characteristics. You need to decide who your target audience is and then act accordingly. For example, some people will give you respect if you drink alcohol, but for others that would cause them to lose respect for you (this is just an example of course, you are 15 and therefore should never drink alcohol!) Honourable behaviour is also subjective - again you have to decide what is correct for you. This period of figuring things out is really normal for teenagers, almost everyone experiences uncertainty about the person they want to be. I am 26 and it has taken me a long time and a lot of thought, reading, prayer and discussion for me to decide on the woman I want to be. So take your time.

In the meantime, be very careful to try and phrase things accurately and thoughtfully to avoid offence. If you are not sure if something is OK or not you could check with a mod before you post it.

And again, for the following reason (bolded):
