have you found several people you trust to edit it/make suggestions?

what would your cover look like?

if it were converted into a mainstream film who would you want cast in the roles of main characters?

Three: Hmm, I dunno about that. I'd prefer unknowns, as long as they're good actors and look the role. For one role in some of the next books, though, I think Richard Roxburgh would be great.

a GLOSSARY. . and a time line in a novel set in the future??

another slim volume of an ultramodern postmod future sported a glossary. . . the story of a boy that was as odd as a clockwork orange. That novel did quite well, IIRC.

Actually, my copy of A Clockwork Orange doesn't have a glossary, but it does have the 21st chapter.

Good for you, finishing a draft. I am currently attempting to write a novel, but have been stuck for some time. I hope to one day finish it and possibly have it published.

My question for you is, did you have any trouble keeping on track of it, and seeing it through to the point you are now? I know I put mine off sometimes, or don't know what to write so I put it off even more, etc. Did you just write in it when you felt like, or did you make yourself write so much a day, or some other method imposing a deadline, strict or non strict.

Anyways, good luck to you on seeing it published, I hope it does well.

Before you post any part of your novel online, go the the WGA website (WGA East for east coast, WGA West for west coast.
You can register your novel online with them for about $25. It takes about five minutes, and you get instant confirmation that your novel has been registered. Print out the confirmation. In three or four weeks you will receive a certificate by mail.

Then make sure you post the fact that it has been registered when you start talking about it online. That way if anyone does try to rip off your work, you have proof that it was your idea first. This kind of registration is temporary -- either 3 or 5 years, I forget -- but it can be renewed as many times as you want (for another fee.)

Sorry, I don't live in America. I live in Australia. Besides, I don't intend to post ANY part of my novel online. Just hints about what it is like.
