well, I have decided to branch out and actually experiment with writing lyrics for once. I will say though I care not if they rhyme or whatever, its the general meaning I have put behind these that I like. As for music to go with it, thing of something along the lines of tool or another similar band.

(EDIT: got rid of the "never was, never will, be anything" lines, tried to put likes that fit in better to replace them, its a bit difficult though with how I imagine the song being performed however.)

As for my own interpretation for it, its pretty much about a wide-eyed idealist getting his hopes and dreams shattered, who then becomes jaded to the cruel reality of the world.

"Never was and never will be" is a major part of the refrain of an Evanescence song, be advised.

can change it, its not like im actually gonna perform it though, its just simply something that needed to be pushed out of my head so I can have a clear head to help me fall asleep easier. Its hard to sleep when the hampster wheel keeps on turning

When I saw this topic name I thought it was gonna be about the Styx album.

I was gonna say that I have that album on vinyl. I love records.

I need to find an easy to use drum loop/drum machine program for me to do the drum and bass track for the song. FruityLoops is just too confusing for me :/

I can do the guitar track myself though via the real thing.
