Although writing used to be my main artistic focus (I am also a soprano-one ranged singer, though I have only done it in small stints like in my old college choir and when I do the dishes) I have tended to doodle quite often. I have been dedicatedly sketching for the past three months and finally got up the courage to start uploading my stuff on deviantArt.
This is one of my most recent pieces and one of my favorites.

I love curvatures and what you can do so I wanted to make something stunning yet simple.

a being composed of almost* pure energy as seen with whatever sense it takes to see it (and then translated into visual patterns by me).

* if it was completely pure energy, it would have no form.

Among the younger sons of King Menahem of Shem, Prince Hazaiah is an adventurer and thrill-seeker who enjoys exploring distant lands and fighting at the front lines for his kingdom. Since he's not a contender for the Shemitish throne, he enjoys a playboyish lifestyle, although his father wishes he would do something more useful for the kingdom during peacetime.

I first imagined this character while listening to Stuart Chatwood's score for the Prince of Persia games. Think of his culture as being based on ancient Israel, but with a visual aesthetic closer to medieval Islam (or "The Arabian Nights").

We stereotypically associate tigers with the jungles of India and Asia, but what if they had expanded into the deserts of the Middle East? Hence this Panthera tigris babyloniensis. As an adaptation to the desert environment, the Babylonian tiger's coat is paler than that of other tigers and has orange rather than black stripes. It is approximately the same, relatively small size as the Sumatran tiger due to its habitat's ecological constraints.

I didn't create this image myself since this is a screenshot from the famous PC FPS game called Unreal Tournament 2004, but the purple things that are in the game are created by no one but myself. They're monsters for the gametype Invasion and I've overpowered them on purpose. They're downloadable for anyone who is owning a full copy of UT2004.

I love that game! I am what you call a Shock Rifle specialist. Haven't played in ages though.

Here's a commission I just finished for someone today: http://thetigress.deviantart.com/#/d4wwp3a

An idea I came up with that was inspired by my former job at Subway (dealing with the public): http://thetigress.deviantart.com/#/d4tpybl

I like TheTigress's stuff!

The beautiful and headstrong daughter of the Pharaoh of Cush, Sekhmetka was married to Prince Hazaiah of Shem for political reasons. Although she likes to accompany her playboyish husband on his adventures, she resents the patriarchal treatment she receives from the Shemitish culture.

"Sekhmetka" is really a renaming of a character I originally called Ouggiri. She also now carries a spear instead of a sword. Other than that, her design hasn't changed very much.

Loxodonta africana and Elephas maximus challenge each other over territory in the Egyptian Sinai Desert.

African elephants appear in predynastic Egyptian rock paintings dating back to 4000 BC, and Asian elephants have been recorded as living in the Fertile Crescent up to 100 BC, so I would not be surprised if these two elephantine genera actually did bump into one another in the prehistoric Middle East.
