It bugs me to no end when people say they have no talent. They sometimes use their talent and sometimes they don't though.

Fred Durst is always the weakest link because his rapping is just so lackluster compared to his screams and yells, and DJ lethal adds nothing and started a lame trend, considering the only bands that used their turntablist well were Linkin park and Deftones. Sam Rivers actually inspired me to pick up the bass on Three Dollar Bill as well as LD 50 by Mudvayne.

I personally think Limp Bizkit is really good when they choose to be, as they seem to take some songs seriously and slather any crap on others. I think the fact they have the awesome b-side No Control and the terrible b-side Armpit shows how much contrast they have in quality well.

What do you guys think of Limp Bizkit? I think they got a lot of undeserved hate.

In a far history, i was a huge fan of Limp Bizkit, because i really liked the combination of Rock and Rap music, and in that time, ..it was next to Cypress Hill, one of the most revolutionary bands in this 'new' genre. Before i became a fan, i liked Eminem, ..so, it was a logical change of taste in music for me.

I had many caps from NY in many various colors, because i heard that Fred wears each day another cap! Haha

But for now i think they become a little bit repetitive and far away from their peaks at succes, but i still like the music because it brings me back from when i was a little teenager from a year of 13/14 or so, haha. I remember ''Significant Other'' was one the most popular albums at my school!

Good memories

They are definitely in the sub genre of Nu Metal. Though unjustly Fred is blamed for Woodstock 99.

Well I don't like Limp bizket, Fred Durst, or any Nu-Metal/Trendy Rap-Metal, I think all of the music is garbage. On the other hand, to say they are untalented would probably not be the best way to put it, they've made lots of albums, lots of money, can play their instruments well enough. They are clearly talented, but not music I would enjoy listening to at all.

Talented, yes, but not the type of music i'd listen to. Nu-Metal polarised the metal community a decade ago, enough to make the traditional fans denounce it. Thank god it died in 2003.

I personally don't like Limp Bizkit but I think Rap-metal is a genre with quite a lot of potential. If you check out stuff like Ice-T's Body Count, it's pretty basic, but it's damn good for what it is. But for Nu-metal haters it's best to steer away from the commercial and well known stuff and head for the more obscure bands.

I think it's controversial to say I LOVED Limp Bizkit's version of Behind Blue Eyes. And it was the first time I heard that song.
