I'm TIRED of the chipmunks RUNING good songs

I used to like the cartoon series but I wish those two action movies wer never made. I hated hearing those songs all over the TV commercials because those songs S#CK & thanx to the success of both those movies; radio stations are playing chipmunk versions of popular songs now. Is there a disease going around that's making people death I cant believe people actually like this cr@p

I used to watch the cartoon when I was younger, and my aunt couldn't stand it because their voices irritated her.

Now that I'm grown, I completely understand how my aunt felt.

I think that's why I never watched either of the movies. At least on the cartoon series you could understand what they were singing. With this...no.

The voices in the cartoons sound much better than those movie soundtracks. I never watched those movies cuz those voices actually hurt my ears. I never noticed it with the cartoon & I'm also an Aqua fan but there's something about the tone/pitch of those action movies. DJs who adjust those songs are NOT cool. I had a program that would do that when I was DJing online years ago & the stuff sounded much better than this. Maybe kids like it because it annoys their parents
I just thought of a new game; Whack-A-Chipmunk I don't think it's copying cuz those chipmunks copy songs.

Thanks Nick. I was actually looking for a pic of Moe with his daisy in that one episode where he saves Homer and everyone in their youth. I figured that one was good enough though.

I don't like chipmunkified classics or rock, etc. But I like chipmunk's version of Flo Rida's imitation of "spin me right round"... better than the rap crap

Hey, their television show was pretty good. And their Christmas song is nice.

But yeah, they have no right to screw up some other decent songs. Their gimmick is frankly, old now and unoriginal. Especially when you can just generate the chipmunk-voice-effect with standard audio equipment, to any song.

P.S... I thought you meant the Chipmunks were RUNNING good songs, not RUINING good songs. Why I almost didn't click here.
