Jacko post-mortem. Done in class (macroecon) this afternoon. Quite tasteless, I know; not too proud of it either. Quite a mess -- but who wouldn't be after being dead for eight months? Or maybe it's Farrah Fawcett or the bizarro counterpart of the still-alive Latoya.

The blurry stuff is personal info that got in the way.

Thanks again! :D
Yes, it's acrylics. I used modelling paste for the thick parts. I painted using a palette knife and my fingers. (Paintbrushes are SO overrated.) "Malpappe" is painting cardboard, meaning it's robust cardboard with canvas glued on. Very useful when normal canvas on a stretcher frame isn't stable enough. (Modelling paste would crumble!)
Actually, I don't like oil. It dries too slowly and it STINKS.

modeling paste, nice trick! no wonder it looked impossibly thick
And agreed, damn oil smell! gave me headaches, now I'm diving into acrylics, loving it! (:

Unfortunately, someone told me that if I want to sell paintings I'll have to use oil because more people want to buy it and I'll get more money for exactly the same painting. Stupid if you ask me. Acrylics are more durable anyway. (Okay, some layering techniques really require oil. But not the stuff I usually do.)

Computerlove ..Grumbacher makes an oil that's cleanable with water and has very little smell. Great stuff for those who are sensitive to the thinners and oil. It's called Max2.

Lots of great works here. Love the fractals above.

I do mostly 3D but also do some painting, fractals and other 2D.

Here's some of my 3D in stone, polymer clay and other materials.

The links to the works are on the left.
