You should really change the coloring of the hurricane; it looks like Goatse.

Also, I saw that you're selling this as a print. You do realize that's probably copyright infringement, right? Unless you own the rights to the movie Titanic, you shouldn't be selling screenshots as your own work, even if you did put Photoshop filters over it.

That's not Titanic. The coloring represents windfield radii. I thought you were going to troll me too.

No, this picture is the one I was talking about that's probably copyright infringement.

Who cares...You're just as bad as those fools on youchew. Maybe you're right I should have never have picked up a sketchpad. I should have just stuck to mapmaking, at least I'm GOOD at that, although you'd probably nitpick the s**t out of that too, as in "Oh the interstate shield isn't to standard, oh, you didn't spell the name correctly. Oh, you should never be a mapmaker." Maybe you do like it, but you're scared to admit it. I guess I'm too ret*d for my own good.

alright man,
Ive read through some of you posts ackman. You show potential for your art. You just need practice.
However, you are getting really defensive over something that doesnt need to be.

If the picture of the man to the right is taken by a news crew, than the image belongs to them. There is no need to get so worked up over someone telling you, or warning you, that someone may not like you using their property

Stuff from the Creedon Republic.

That's not what i'm pointing at.

Let me be honest with you, what you're uploading here, i can't even call it art : /
Some of these things are so bad it kills a little part of me when you say it's art.

Heck, some of your pictures you've just applied an filter on, sumi-e or something : /

And also, saying you dont care about copyrighted infringement, you are just ASKING to be sued, if you have such an approach to this, i really think you should stop this and just leave.

Thank you for your input Tias. I am doomed to do this. I will continue because it makes me happy. I'm curious, if they say "Art is in the eye of the beholder" then what can't you call art? Is a cave painting not art? Is a line in the sand not art? I'm not even putting up my best stuff anyways, I don't have a scanner, nor do I have a camera anymore, I do admit, my hands are shaky when it comes to drawing in GIMP, but it IS improving.

1. Putting a Photoshop filter over a preexisting picture doesn't make you an artist. The stuff that you didn't trace over is technically art, but it's not rally "good" art.
2. You aren't doomed to do anything. People have been trying to help you improve by explaining to you what's wrong with your artwork, but you refuse to listen. At this rate, you're on the fast path to becoming someone like Chris-chan or Chasethehedgehog. If you stopped being so egotistical and started listening to what others had to say, you might actually be a decent artist.
2a. Your stories aren't steampunk. They're just Victorian stories with anachronistic technology, and the anachronisms makes the story even worse. Most steampunk stories have the technology well-integrated into the setting.
2b. The Creedonian movement only exists in your mind.
3. Your hand-drawn stuff isn't any better than your MS Paint/Gimp stuff.

I didn't know you hated my fiction too. Well, you should be honored that you caused me to commit suicide.

So f**k fiction then, right? I had better call the library and open their eyes to what ridiculous drivel they've been harboring all these years. Better yet, where was Shakespeare buried? I need to go piss on his grave for wasting everyone's time with his made-up plays.

As for Tias, Dammit, you consistently seem to be more of a dick than I am around WP. I, an I'm sure others, invite you to put up or shut up. Get your hair out of your eyes, find a drawing pad, and start a Tias art thread. If Ackman's pictures are there to help tell the story, copyright and method have little relevance if he's not selling this work. I also see plenty that is original in this thread.

Ackman, check the General's thread in the haven. You're still welcome to post your work.
