One of me faves. I know it's about Billy Joe's father but this has always reminded me of 9/11 :cry:

Simonono did you mean Wake Me Up When September Ends. I don't believe 21 guns is about his father or grandfather. In 21 guns it talks about laying down arms and giving up the fight. A very anti war song.

Wake me up when september ends is also related to 9/11.
There are a few refferences to it on the lyrics ie
Ring out the bells again
Like we did when spring began (US invaded irak on march 20th which is the start date of spring on the northern hemisphere which caused quite some panic about Iraq´s reaction and 9/11 was related to the invasion)

My favs are king for a day, horseshoes and handgrenades, Jesus of suburbia, and homecoming. I saw them live in last sept. They were amazing!! ! They defiantly know how to put on a good show

I love Green Day. I have managed to see them live 6 times now. There concerts are awesome. A couple of years ago they were filming some footage here in Phoenix and gave members of there Idiot club front row tickets. I will try to post some pics of it.
