Thank you Cornflake! I love drawing details; especially with a BIC pen. Those are the best pens on the market, and also the cheapest.

I used to do some stuff with Rotring technical drawing pens, because they had such fine tips - like down to 0.1mm.
Abstract, flowing, organic-type patterns - doodles, I guess, but very detailed. I was trying to draw what I'd seen during my mis-spent youth when I experimented with certain mind-tweaking chemicals.

 I wish. Along with the pens and inks, they went AWOL many years ago during a house move.

When I am depressed I can't do anything but the shades (which is the name I've given to the characters in the following pictures, I have hundreds of shades all amalgamated on the same piece of paper and quite a few pieces of paper with them on).
It isn't often I can put a picture together like these three though, normally I draw things singularly, like a dragon, or a superhero, and not a superhero amidst a background scene or a dragon with surrounding trees etc.

This I call "Charity begins when you give".

"Guardian Angel".

I like the foreshortened arms in this one.

Thank you, Arnie was the model I used for this drawing.
I wanted to draw a body in action, so I played/paused my way through a Conan film until I found a pose I liked, and drew it.
Sometimes I can spend more time researching what I would like to draw, than actually drawing, and that's if I don't become more interested in what I'm researching and shelve the drawing idea.
