Although I don't believe the main character from Stephen King's "Carrie" was truly feminist, her tragic and horrifying story certainly brings to mind of just how unforgiving life can be for vulnerable girls who suffer bullying at school and abuse at home. Sometimes it's even worst when it comes from other women like Carrie's classmates in Gym or her fanatically religious mother.
