Since I have been drawing lately, I suppose I will post some... though my designs will not be so good in comparison. You all have some lovely work here! I am impressed and if I commented on each to you all I would be here all day...

I used an acrylic medium to glue the picture on the painting.

Nothing complicated, nothing so exciting but a quick sketch I did on MS Paint.

After an hour or two of frustration, I was finally able to get my hands on some Google Earth height maps of the Grand Canyon.
I used a tiny section (100 square km ~ 38.6 square miles) of the Canyon to generate this model using a plane and a displacement modifier inside 3ds Max.
I placed a box representing the average size of an adult male human on the surface, but from this distance you can't even see it.
In total, this relatively small section of canyon is composed of 1,125,012 polygons.

I painted this as a live artist last night at a music event, with a very limited supply of oils on a huge 5 by 4 canvas.So much fuuuun!

I'm told these are now on eBay, going cheap! My older sister is dealing with it, I'm far too depressed to care. 20"x16" acrylic on canvas blah blah blah.

I don't suppose you have a version of that map that won't eat my entire color ink cartridge? Next time I run something in a fantasy setting I could use a good map.
