This is something I've been working on off and on for the past week. It's a Black-Backed Jackal. I made it with paint.net and gimp. I decided to color it today, and this is what I have so far.
Now to fix the eyes. They look too human. I think it looks weird without black eyebrows, so I'm keeping that. And I forgot whiskers.
It's really large, so you guys'll have to go to Deviantart to see it.

Aset, the main character of a novel I've started. She's a prehistoric Sudanese woman whose people are ancestral to the ancient Egyptians and Nubians.

This is a self portrait painted in 2007. Unfortunately it's badly water damaged because at the time for some reason I decided it would be a good idea to cover the front with clear water bombs - which subsequently burst after the painting was put into storage and caused mold, water marks, and small holes to eventually form.
