I don't know too much of him, while I'm a big fan of him, his music style is definitely different for jazz. Compared to other pianists, and bandleaders of his time, his style was really dissonant, uninterested in what jazz was in the period. You'd have to hear his music compared to others, it's hard to explain. I don't know if it's AS-ish, but it's definitely different. Uninterested in conventional approaches. More interested in banging on the piano, finding a lot of dissonances, clashing tones, trying to meld beautiful melody with going crazy, while I haven't written much myself, I could imagine myself writing music in a style similar to his if I was a Jazz pianist (bandleader) in his era.

Haven't seen his documentary, but I could believe it if he was AS. Unfortunately, we'll never know.

Yes on "mysterioso" he really bangs on the keyboard, and yet its a very pretty and delicate tune. delicate and dissonant at the same time.

One musician who apparently does NOT have AS is Beck.
Folks on another aspis website I go to are all angry at Beck because he kidded around with an interviewer saying "thats because I have aspergers..not really". Im surprised that he even knows about aspergers but some folks dont think its anything to joke about i guess.

No, Marilyn Manson definitely does not have an ASD. If anything he has borderline personality disorder. The guy is nuts, I wouldn't want him living next door to me.

1. George Reeves death was also said by the police to be a suicide, and that is one of the most obvious Hollywood murders. The police and doctors aren't always right, sometimes they don't pay enough attention to the details.
2. If you looked at how much heroin he was on at the time you would know that not even the craziest addict could have been able to move let alone shoot himself.
3. It doesn't matter my age Nirvana has had a major impact on my life.
4. It's not a conspiracy theory it's a fact.
5. You realize everybody on here hates you right?

First, Kurt Cobain attempted suicide once before and suffered from Bipolar Disorder, with really bad lows. It's not unreasonable to think he may have actually attempted it again, succeeding.

Also possible that Courtney Love may have been a murderer, she's clearly manipulative about his death, I've lost count of the many articles I've read where she's advertising yet another Kurt Cobain biography movie. Seriously, lost count.

Sigh, just another case where I'm in the gray and am indecisive. Based on the most accessible facts, Kurt Cobain likely did indeed kill himself. That said, there are some considerable arguments, theories, and evidence I've found while slightly researching the topic, from those in favor of the idea that Love was the murderer (personally, I don't think it's as crazy as other conspiracies can be). Such as, (in addition to whatevers been mentioned) his suicide letter; While most of it was depressed, only the ending truly made it sound like he was going to kill himself, and that part is in a different handwriting (the theory being, that part is written by Courtney, and it's not written as a suicide letter originally). Always could be a coincidence.

Whatever the case, Courtney Love is autistic; She was diagnosed with it as a child. If my opinion matters: it's a good thing she doesn't bring it up much, I would hate to see her represent the autistic society. She would probably be the worst choice in picking someone to represent autism.

I don't give a s**t if everyone hates me. Can we please not turn this into a Kurt Cobain was murdered/Kurt Cobain killed himself thread? If you want to buy into conspiracy theories, that's your prerogative.

And back on topic, David Byrne from the Talking Heads mentioned in an interview that he thought he might have Asperger's IIRC.
