A commenter in a news article made a lyric reference to this song in relation to the CEO cheating scandal at a Coldplay concert. Cheating by CEO's like this probably goes on all the time but this one went viral. I thought it was brilliant reference and appropriate (for both cheating parties) and always loved this song. "You can't hide your lyin eyes". A great lyric and life principle. Such a great decade of music in the 70's.

I don't know anything about the lyrics, but it's just a nice happy piece of music that made smile and I enjoyed listening to, several times. The video too, nice colours, the people, not looking down their noses at the viewer, no attitude of superiority, just sat there singing and tapping away..
