Wasn't sure whether to put this in the gaming part or here. It's art I guess. It's not brilliant and may get changed over time but for now, this is my Green Lantern car I did today on Forza 4.

Made in Profantasy's Campaign Cartographer

The indigenous peoples of Lemurya once fought each other chronically, ritualistically consuming their enemies' flesh, but the chieftain Jarrah of Asmat brought this era of cannibalistic warfare to an end by unifying the tribes into one nation-state. Nonetheless, old tribal grudges do not die easily, so this peace is tentative at best and dependent on the centralized government's power. The Cushites from across the ocean have colonized the island's northern coastline to exploit its tropical resources, but they hesitate to penetrate deeper for fear of arousing the Lemuryans' wrath...

Although the Lemuryan city symbols may look Asian, my Lemuryan culture actually has a New Guinean inspiration. In fact the cities' names are taken from real New Guinean tribal societies. It's high time that someone used New Guineans for fantasy worldbuilding.

The Ninja Turtles' Girlfriends

Given that there are no female Mutant Turtles in most TMNT continuities, and that April is with Casey Jones, have you ever wondered whom the heroes in a half shell would date? I'm not advocating bestiality here (if dating sapient anthros could be considered bestiality), but let's face it, adolescent chelonians need to slake their raging hormones somehow.

Because I like ethnic diversity, and because I reason the Turtles would have different preferences to minimize competition between them, I made each of their girlfriends a different race. Natasha and Brittany's backgrounds should be obvious, but since I fail at drawing Mongoloid facial features, Aiko is supposed to be Japanese and Tammy Native American. I don't think I need to point out which girl goes to which Turtle.

References: here and here

Two quick sketches of African headrests, one from ancient Egypt and another, more recent one from the Tsonga people of the continent's southeastern region. Many traditional African peoples used headrests instead of pillows for sleeping, as these allowed air to circulate around the head (a benefit in the hot African climate).

I chose the subject of headrests because they're one of the many links between the ancient Egyptian and so-called "sub-Saharan" African cultures that most people don't acknowledge. Most people classify Egypt as a Near Eastern or Mediterranean culture, but while it definitely interacted with those other regions, I prefer to perceive it as a fundamentally African civilization.

That's a cool angle to show the wings! It looks like it's in a landing position.
[I'm really obsessed with wings. Can you tell? ]

I concur that the griffin is pretty neat.

I'm not really a hardcore TMNT fan, but I do have fond memories of the old 1987 cartoon, and recently I had a dream in which the Turtles appeared. This rendition of Don is pretty much my own design rather than an imitation of any of the cartoons' style though; the eyes are meant to make him look more reptilian.

This was intended to be the reference for a drawing, but I ended up liking the reference more then the drawing, so here it is.

I think you need a certain number of posts before you can post pics.

I'll give this one more go.

I'm a dabbler in mediums, mostly just lips and eyes stay the same!

Thanks! I really don't know either... I think I called it a Fawnling, or uni-dragon water fawn on a book page
