^^ Good to see you here!
Did you know that he's married to Diana Krall? And they have kids? and Elton John introduced them? (how cool is that?)
So here's the distaff side: first thing I ever heard of hers, and one I looked up ASAP after. (Wanted to put these on Kelby's jazz thread too, but I cannot find it anywhere.)
You too
I knew they were married, but not about Elton John introducing them. That is cool. I knew he was a Costello fan, so I guess that makes sense. I love the songs you posted by her. I'm pretty sure Elvis wrote this one after they met (which was after his second divorce):

So sorry for the confusion. I deleted my Jazz thread, as it began to seem there wouldn't be an interest. Perhaps I should have given it more time. I will regenerate the thread. Thanks for wanting to participate/post in it. I adore Diana Krall, by the way. I have, actually, found my tastes in music to be quite similar to yours + HighLlama's and particularly, elbowgrease, and have enjoyed all of your posts (and other's posts, as well), tremendously. Anyway, sorry for the long winded post. I will regenerate the Jazz thread (if nobody else has done so, since I deleted it).

I'm glad you brought it back. I was going crazy trying to find it, then realized you must have deleted it.

Sorry about that, HighLlama. I'll be looking forward to your posts!

I love his face in this in this video and the lyrics too.
The outro is particularly satisfying:
"And no bus, no boss, no rain, no train No bus, no boss, no rain, no train No bus, no boss, no rain, no train No emasculation, no castration No highway, freeway, motorway No bus, no boss, no rain, no train No bus, no boss, no rain, no train No bus, no boss, no rain, no train"
