This band was a true power trio. A female bassist. Pure magic live. I saw them multiple times in Minneapolis from a small bar to First Avenue. Such great memories.
I still remember exactly where I was when I heard this song for the first time. A friend of mine played it on my parked car's stereo with the windows open during the summer as we were standing outside in a parking lot next to Lake Superior.
I saw this movie on the big screen at an historic theater in town when it came out. It was great to see it that way. My wife had never seen this movie or heard the soundtrack until I introduced it to her. She cries when she sees this song/part of the movie because she thinks it's beautiful.
