Wow! I bet she had some great stories! Also I'm totally envious of her life. Gosh, I can just imagine the gorgeous clothes she got to wear (I collect vintage clothing, particularly dresses).
We all raided her closet after she passed.
I got a copper suede pencil skirt with a slit, from Saks. She was still wearing it with high heels, in her 70s. I wore it to work after the funeral and when people complimented me I said it was my grandmother's. They were a little dumbfounded. Rumour has it that my grandfather never saw her with wet hair or no make up in their 50+ year marriage. Her priorities were a little out of whack, but she had great clothes. She did some fashion design as well.

Heck, I don't blame y'all for raiding her closet, I would have done the same thing.
Ooh fashion design? That was my dream job as a kid and into my teens. I wish I actually could have done that for real. Did you ever get to see any of her designs?
