Not a bad song at all, but I'd rate it considerably below the two numbers posted earlier. Noosha's performance is fine as usual, but the other band members irritate me here, especially the guy with the plastic tubing in his mouth.

Not a huge fan of Slade, but this is a powerful performance of a very decent song. 100% live as well, it would seem. Some interesting shots of a typical 1970s German audience here as well.

Another interesting Slade release, late 1973. Not sure what the Noddy Holder glasses thing was all about. The guy doing the intro is Kenny Everett, if anyone was wondering.

I've always been a bit sceptical of the claim by Marc Bolan fans that he was on the verge of a huge comeback when he met his sad demise in 1977, as most of his output at the time doesn't bear that out. However, this very entertaining clip from London Weekend's 'Supersonic' show suggests that he may still have had it in him. Interesting glimpses of Gloria Jones at various points in this performance as well.

Thanks for that DH ... Ssssingle Bed was her biggest hit(was very popular in Aus, where she was born). She influenced Kate Bush, having arrived on the scene 3 years prior to Kate...) I particularly like "Only You" that you posted .... had forgotten it existed! Another popular hit around the same time was "Midnight at the Oasis

Let Biz Markie show how this song is supposed to sound.
