I beat I made using a sample from Mother Mother's Omen and another from the demo version of Q Lazzarus's Goodbye Horses. I'm not sure either are readily identifiable anymore. It's spooky and I might use the break again for other tracks. I don't know why, but I find it way more rewarding to make a song entirely out of samples compared to making one out of music I play. I guess it's like the difference between having a bespoken track car built and putting together a hot rod using parts that are readily available.
