Well then I can't win because if I do like your art you won't believe me.

I like this one. I love painting guys in suits and it really speaks to me!! !

I like it too. It shows great feeling for strong color, composition and depiction of atmosphere and emotion.

Why the general and admiral fought over this woman is a mystery.

She's getting angry with her other daughter, Emily. Emily still believes that it is all her fault, and that she must be punished. Ruth tells her not to get angry with herself. This offends Emily greatly and then Emily goes off.

Ruth gets the phone call that rips her apart.

This is what it's like to be Ruth Bukater right now:

You're told there's a phone call for you. You answer the phone. It turns out that Rose was involved in an incident at school. "Is she safe? Is she all right?" you ask yourself. When the principal tells you that she is at Bellvue Hospital, you don't believe it at first, but then it hits you "My little girl could DIE" You drop your tea cup as you start to feel the tears running down your cheeks. "What's the matter mama? asks your ten year old daughter. You tell her that something has happened and that you will be going out. As you tell her everything's going to be okay, you break down further into tears. As you call for a cab to take you to the hospital, you become self conscious, asking yourself "What if people see me crying like this? no, my little girl is more important than other people."

Some of your artwork looks like you took an existing photo and painted over it in MS Paint.

Other than that, you still need to work on your anatomy; your figures are all out of whack. Your backgrounds are decent though.

I agree that some of the work looks like it started with photos, but the control of composition and great use of flat color and color values indicates a very clever sense of design and composition, no matter the starting points.

Depending where you are:

June 15th is Elizabeth Bukater's birthday. She is the first major autie character created by me. She is turning ten(1897-1907) years old. So, lets all celebrate.
