That lullaby is trying to destroy Green Day. That is just awful.

Closed mindness when it comes to covers etc is destroying the music bussiness(which was already at a bad stage to begin with). I understand some critizicism when the cover is badly done but there are so many people complaining about great covers and its pretty sad to see how they are destroying the music bussiness.

I would rather my child listen to the real Green Day. If Green Day is good enough for someone to wake from a coma by listening to it. I think then it's good enough for a child.

You have a child? 8O
The songs woke someone up from a coma? 8O

 There is so much information I was unaware of!

Not sure about thewrll´s parenthood but heres some info about the coma thing http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/4325311.stm

The problem is that cover is really badly done. One of the greatest covers by Green Day is shout.

covering music is a sin. I mean, a thing is easy to reproduce, but a thought?
if a thought is stolen you'll never be it's owner anymore. no matter how long it took you to find it. in this case how long it took you to write a piece of music.
If someone can't write himself out of thumbness or lazyness, he or she should just let it be until he or she can do, right?^^

If someone covered any of my songs, I'd feel honoured. :P

It would mean that my piece of music got through to someone and made them want to show other people this idea that I have created. And even if they don't show anyone, it still means that the song is meaningful enough that the person took the time and effort to learn themselves.

If I wrote something beautiful, why would I want to hog it to myself? I'd love share it with other people.

How would you feel if someone made a parody of your song :?:

Doubt one of your type of songs would be parodied. It's more pop songs that are fun to make fun of.

Nah, probably not, thankfully. :D

Unless I get into a rebecca black scenario.
