I've never heard a song that's brought me to tears. I don't recall crying since I was a young child. I imagine if one did do that, it would be something like this -

I get a very odd feeling when listening to some of Zappa's music (and the music of other artists, but I've never found any where it happens nearly as much as with Zappa); a mixture of awe, triumph, happiness, melancholy, hope, and more, and it seems as though it's located in my stomach, rather than my head (so I guess it's the kind of thing people refer to when they say 'gut reaction' - it doesn't happen to me very often). It's strange, because one of the main criticisms I hear of Zappa is that despite how technically good his music may be, it's cold, emotionally detached, etc. For me, a large portion of Zappa's music has produced some of the most intense emotional experiences I've had.
