AWWW HELL NO.

I have no idea if they're a joke band or not. I've never listened to their lyrics, I can just tell you that their guitarists are friggin awesome.

Right now I am unfortunately listening to nothing (workplace does not like my iPod) but I was listening to Chapter Four by Avenged Sevenfold on the way to work.

Dragonforce's guitarists aren't "awesome." They're fast. There is a definite difference. One can be both (Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, etc.) but Dragonforce's guys are just fast. They don't have a whole lot of guitar knowledge and their solos are erratic and lacking in substance. Also, they screw up like crazy at live shows and their lyrics are dumb. Avenged Sevenfold is no different. Not to be critical or anything, I'm just pointing stuff out.

I'm currently listening to Rickshaw by Desert Sessions.

enslaved are better than anything you listen too little girl. avenge sevenfold are crap, why dont you listen to real metal instead of that junk they play on mtv and call "metal" ohpuhhleaseahh..

Ok. One, I was not responding to your comment. I have never heard Enslaved, and I have no wish to pass judgment on a band I have never heard. Two, I have never and probably will never watch MTV. Three, I do not listen to a specific genre of music, and quite frankly I don't care if you consider Avenged Sevenfold to be metal or country or anything in between. Your opinion is not my concern. Four, I find it hard to take musical advice from someone who can't even accurately spell a band's name.

For the record, I'm currently listening to "Topless" by Breaking Benjamin.
