My luthier just sent me these picks!


Scale Model Guitars, Buzzbomb. Its still in the early stages.
It has a Honduran mahogany body, maple neck (bolt on) with ebony fretboard. 25.5" scale. String through body (like a telecaster). Lace Aluma-90 Alumitone pickups.

When done the guitar body will be cherry red.

Nice! It looks like the inspiration for it was drawn from an old 60's Kay, but only made with quality parts/wood.

Well its completely handmade.
The truth is he wanted to improve on the telecaster design when he did the first buzzbomb.

It's a hollowbody, and if you know anything about them, thery were generally considered cheap student instruments in the day, aside from a couple of their high end guitars, like the Barnie Kessel.

Your guitar actually reminds of the old Silvertone guitars.

Actually that silvertone is a Danelectro. It was done under the silvertone label.

We might have to hear how that thing sounds one of these days. Looks extra-wikkid tho .

In case anybody is curious. This is the first guitar Scale Model Guitars made for me. I just had lace aluma-90 pickups installed to replace P-90s.

what kinda pickups are those again?

Lace Alumitone Aluma-90s.
They are humbuckers that fit in p-90 slots.
