im utter utter crap at finishing stuff i start, now this is ms-paint and i just wanna be sure im on the right track, before i go insane w detailwork and stuff

Image

whatcha think? proportions okay? armor looks good or lame? vital accessories missing?
the spear-tip sucks ass i know, suggestions?

the gun is preliminary, i have tons of my own gun designs, so no worries about that one

i obviously exclude the helmet, because if the presentability, should i include a helmet on the ground?
the background will be a simple scenic thing, most likely her desert, at night.

Cool armor. I'm not sure, but your legs may be a shade on the short side. I'm not used to looking at peope in armor, so it might just be that. Overall, nice!

thanx a lot for that, and yes, i was suspecting the legs needed a little stretching, thanx again!

Looks very good. You certainly have the true skills to make something proffesional out of this! Maybe the legs also should be a bit longer if you dont intend to potrait a child

no, shes supposed to be an adult. i first and foremost wanted to avoid giving her a babe/model-shape, shes inside a lumpy space-armor as well, but the leg, below the knee especially, is too short yes

im not sure how i will go forth w detailing it, ill use msn, so, ill see if ill give it a limited comic-book coloration, or if ill go completely insane and give it lights and shades and whatnot :I

but okay, so far:

# legs needs stretching a bit

Wow - I can't wait to see the final product! You'll post it once you've finished?

I like it. And I like that you made her proportions more life-like. The legs probably do need to be either very slightly longer, or slightly thinner, to make her look like an adult (but not too much - I like the way you've drawn her).

thanx guys, i stretched her legs just a thought, and it allready looks much better.

im gonna draw up clean lines now, and report back :]

edit:
Image

the colors are simply a guide for me to know what im working on, as i zoom in.

the spear tip looks cylindrical, but ill fix that w the coloring.
any comments so far?

shes not supposed to be balded
her "wig" is there
<------------ and im gonna paste it on her head when its done

i decided to skip the helmet. she left it at home :M

also, photobuckets keeps shrinking them, so the original is slightly larger

one thing im very undecided about is the color-scheme of the armor, and the texture. polished metal, plain metal, plastic polymer-look, white, gray, blue, black, brown? you synesthetics, help me out :D

its a female, female butts are rounder ;)

also, its a piece of armor, so its unflexible, and has to fit potentially fat-asses ;)

the armored-butt was VERY difficult to get right. if i make it smaller, i fear she'd look too masculine or anorectic
