Like I said before, I have a severe writer's block. But even when I do have ideas, they always suck. I believe I am destined to become a hack.

Writer's block, according to Orson Scott Card (who claims to never have it) is an indication that you haven't thought out your story to its conclusion, or that you're resisting the logical conclusion your story takes you to. Try to avoid "What should happen next?" type thoughts and, instead, think more "How would it ACTUALLY happen?" If the conclusion is always "The bad guy shoots the hero in the head", then you have to rethink your character's actions to that point.

Also (actually, this was the first thing I wanted to say, but forgot it), try taking two completely unrelated story ideas and mashing therm together, however awkward it might seem. You might just end up with a complex, engrossing story.

if you really think you're bad, you should go to the 'Godawful Fanfic' site. I guarantee you'll feel better afterwards...

I also have severe writer's block, especially when it comes to writing things that are non-fiction. When I was in college it would take me 3-6 hours to do a 12pt font, 2 page, double spaced paper, even though I type 45wpm. On top of that, when I looked at my papers, I was surprised on how mediocer they were considering all the time I put into them.

some may need to picture the entire story in their head, others, like me, get demotivated by knowing too much of whats gonna happen.

why dont you write some short stories, to get into "the mood"?
you were going for some post-apocallyptic stuff no? write some "random" stories from that world. i wrote about 10 shorts, before i really felt ready, and ive been typing up non stop on a "main story" since then. in fact, its finished, and im back to writing shorts

(the practice shorts are very non-canon, so i write new ones instead )

Well, you're still quite young. It's hard to write something decent when you're only fifteen.
Don't give up. Continue to writing and maturing your art. Become acquainted with various art medium and story. Built your knowledge on various subjects and topics. It's gonna built your imagination.(You're also in a pretty interessing age for that.)
It's good that you already know what you want to do of your life. A lot of peolple don't have a clue even when their older.

What about taking ideas from other ideas and twisting it to your personal liking. Aim for what you like and go with it. Over the years, you get better at it or so. I'm going through the same thing too. (Curse you "writers" block o.o)

I wrote four pages tonight. I had doubts about writing one particular scene. But after reviewing my notes on these people, and their culture, I decided to proceed forward and write the scene as it should be. Had I not had those notes I could have easily suffered writer's block.

I once had a writing professor who liked to tell us to "vomit on paper".

A gross image, but the idea is to just blast out something, whatever it is. The more you do that, the better the "vomit" will be.
