any fans of brand new out there? I love Jesse Lacey's acoustic sets. Whenever i am on the computer i am most definitely listening to something from him live on youtube.



What i like most, is that he doesn't try to recreate the same fame he had previously with every new album. He tries to do something new, he grows as a person, and you can definitely tell this by the change.

Of course, their newest album is a little angstier, but i still like it, and i love when they play their oldest album acoustic. I almost wish that they'd redo that one acoustic.

I like the track that was used in Stargate Universe, but otherwise I am unfamiliar with this group.

I've heard a lot about them but have only heard a few songs, and they seem to be one of those bands that you need to know where to start because they have so much material.
I have heard the song Jesus Christ and I think the lyrics and atmosphere are amazing, and another song I don't remember the name of but I remember liking it.

Which songs would you reccomend, if you don't mind?

I love Brand New

Degausser is probably my favorite song, but it wasn't when i first listened to it. Um--okay i believe you, but my tommy gun don't---is another good one. Jude Law and a semester abroad is there oldest single, it's slightly less evolved then their other music, but its really good, when you listen to it acoustic.



idk, i honestly like all of them. Their new newest album isn't my favorite tho.
