How do you like this author? I had an opportunity to read just the first novel of The Tales of the Flat Land series (there are five of them and only the first two are translated into my native tongue). Though typically I don't like romance in the books read by me, in this very case I don't mind for I'm in love with the world made up by Tanith Lee and I'd love to read the whole rest of the Flat Land stories. I very like also her Volkhavaar. Apart from those two books, I read only two of her short stories published in the Don Wolheim annual antologies; the one on the Golden Witch and one on the girl living in the world of the future where radioactive rain can kill you.

I've flicked through The Silver Metallic Lover, but most of my exposure to Tanith Lee was actually through the Blake's 7 episodes she wrote, Sarcophagus and Sand, both pretty good episodes.

Btw, can anyone tell me the original English names of the seven sisters thanks to whom Azhrarn was resurrected at the end of the first book of the Flat Land tales? I read it only in Polish and here their names are changed to make all of them begin with the "p" letter.

I know it's nowhere on the net as it seems, if it was there, I would have found it.
