I make beats, and I was wondering if there are any producers/beatmakers here who want to collab. Or any singers or rappers who want to do vocals on my tracks??????

What I mean is I could start a drum beat and send the wav files and then you could add bass, guitar, vocals etc. or vice versa. I play guitar and bass

I think this is a really cool way to work, because of the unexpected direction....... that someone else can add to your project with no input from the original creator.

I really like laid-back lo-fi kind of classic music late 80s-90s hip hop. Real beats, real drumkits, real bass, not all this 808 techno and synth crap posing as pop and rap music on the radio.

These songs are my inspiration

Excellent taste but dont really like the first one.

Second one is good too, unfortunately i dont know what they are saying.
Its nice to see that dressing like a gangster doesn't mean you have to act like an ass, it takes more courage to be positive.
Putting people down and blowing up your own ego is what insecurity does.

lol I know you said no 808s or synths but I just had to sample that intro of yours. I hopped on ableton and this was the mess I came up with (I didn't really know what kind of song to make, I ended up sort of remaking Blink 182's "Miss You"), borrowing your soul-full guitar lead.

(its the first song - miss you vs. growing pains)

This isn't a song, its a loop with me in the process of learning audio effects following youtube tutorials. So it is messy with this free trial version of ableton that I have. It reminds me of Ludacris's "Growing Pains." I don't know how to remove the static or noise in the track, anyways, it would be cool instead of a collabo, we can have a music competition where we choose or make a set of samples, and then everyone who makes beats or music can chop it up and make their own song out of it, and then we can we all show our works over the course of the month.

and I have not the slightest clue wht i was thinking with that open high-hat + symbol combo, its rythmic pattern slows down an already slow beat way too much. ill rework it

Thanks dude! That was awesome.....and I can't believe you sampled me.....haha

That was the first song I made, recorded in straight plugging my guitar into my mixer into my computer.....Now I have an MBOX so it sounds alot better.

Yeah I wouldn't mind a competition or whatever. Im working on some stuff now, if you want to hear it PM me your email
