As the radio show 'Route Du Soleil' has started airing again this summer on Radio 2 (an annually recurring radio show that's part humouristic, part informative, and revolves around a fictional journey across Europe, taking a different route every year), I am being exposed to some foreign pop music once more. Two of the songs I heard in the most recent episode have struck a chord with me, and both are French (as the Route led through France in that particular broadcast).
"Vagabonde" by Kenza Farah (audio quality not very good, nor is it an actual video).

"Dans Tous Mes États" by Lorenz.

When I listened to the Route 2 years ago, I didn't follow up on my liking of German language artists Annette Louisan and Max Mohnke. I may want to reconsider in the case of these two. Especially since it might help increase my interest in French. As my focus when it comes to pop music has shifted to the Far East (from Japan to Vietnam to Indonesia), I was wholly unaware of what was going on in the rest of the EU outside of the Neth (and the UK) until today.
