I love Last FM and use it obsessively. I have met some really wonderful people that listen to the same music as me.
Do any of you have accounts? I would like to see your music profiles and make more use of the social networking features of the site

I used to...I like it much better than Pandora but it still leaves a lot to be desired. It's great for when I'm working/studying and don't want to manually pick out music to listen to! I've been using Spotify more recently though.

Yeah I'm using it right now.....I stopped for a while because I was using pandora then that started to suck because of this new thing where you can only listen to a limited amount of music per month. Last.fm I can listen to an even larger variety of music whenever I feel like it.

I don't use it for networking much but I love the recommendations feature and the band/artist biographies are useful too.

My WIMP account is tied up to Last.FM, so I get recommendations. It took a while to train it, but now I get some OK tips every now and then.
But I don't use WIMP a lot either. I buy my music on vinyl.
