The WP search feature is pretty crap, so if there's a thread about this already and I haven't seen it, sorry. Anyway, does anyone else liek conttemporary christian music? You don't have to be a christian to like it of course. I am myself quite fond of Natalie Grant, and like a few songs by MercyMe. I discovered them while one of my christian personalities was out and looking for good christian songs. Therés a lot of crap out there too IMHO, so if you g uys don't like Natalie Grant, MercyMe or whatever, I take no offense. Just curious if anyone else likes any CCM, and if you have recommendations?

I love Christian music. Matthew West is my favorite, but I like Natalie Grant as well. And Josh Wilson. I use music to express myself a lot of times, and their stuff is at the top of my list.

I like quite a bit of non-contemporary Christian music :D. But as for contemporary, no I've never really been a fan. Although I have to admit, that this song is just plain awesome:

I'm not really sure what's considered contemporary christian. Would stuff like this fall in that category :?:

Although I'm not really a big fan of Christian music, Red's song Pieces always makes me cry when I listen to it:

Off the top of my head I like Lincoln Brewster and Israel Houghton - Crowder,Redman,Tomlin and Hughes are all right, I did a lot of them at my last church. Other than that I feel a lot of the other acts are overcommercialized hype to sell along with the big NOTW stickers plastered on every Suburban and F150
