Increased music appreciation if origins are unknown?

Every so often I get a piece of video game music or such randomly on the radio and I can't seem to remember where it's from - and until I do, or manually check the name I seem to enjoy it more than the time after gaining that knowledge.

For all I know, there's been biological evidence people enjoy new things more. That's why people are advised to try new sex positions, techniques etc. :wink:
