So what do you think about it? I've cross compared it with a few other articles and from personal experience it appears to be pretty accurate. What does your taste in music say about you? I'm mainly a fan of Rock/Metal, second is probably "Indie", and after that I probably prefer something along the lines of classical or jazz. I tend to be quiet and introverted, gentle unless I'm pissed off in which I become quite agressive, very intelligent and creative, and my self-esteem fluctuates a lot.

Fluttershy is totally a rocker/metalhead.

i like all musics except for rap/hiphop/disco/country/rock, and a few others. i don't know for sure what that might say about my noodle.

Interesting, but nothing groundbreaking really. I'm a metal gal with dancey leanings. BTW, nice to see a fellow Butthole Surfers fan...

pop, dance and classical form their mentions. also folk rock. I tend to like bass sounds, but i'm not extroverted.

Well... I must be undefineable. my only preference is just for game soundtracks, all preferences of which don't change over time. I still enjoy tracks that have still on my playlists for over 6 years, What does make the personality then?

classical, older jazz/pops and showtunes.

its like if you compare the playing and phrasing styles of say jascha heifetz or yehudi menuhin you will see that are just like there personalities.heifetz could play the chaconne in 12 minutes,he must have had the central nervous system of a humming bird.his personality was terse and abrupt and very passionate.
yehudi very much like his playing was patient,gentle and calm.

i long have wondered about the difference in personality between those who preferred the playing style of ken griffin versus george wright.

There must be some significant confounding factors here. Socioeconomic background must play a role in one's taste in music via the music one is exposed to at least. I'd bet my next paycheck that people who listen to classical are more likely to come from middle and upper class backgrounds and have greater education and better educated parents, all of which could contribute to better IQ scores.

I'm a huge fan of Jazz and very early Blues, but the description for 'Jazz, Blues and Soul' doesn't describe me very well at all.

Classical

Classical music lovers are typically more introverted, but are also at ease with themselves and the world around them. They are creative and have a good sense of self-esteem.

Yep, I'd say that sums me up quite nicely

i would say, however, that most of my life spared me of any sense of healthy self-esteem, classical or no classical.
