I'm sure Terry Pratchett has been discussed elsewhere but I didn't feel like browsing through 71 pages of previous threads. I only know about him from people mentioning him on WP. Well, I got "Thief of Time" from the library and I love it. I think it's wonderful how much fun he has with complicated concepts. How does he know so much about being on the spectrum? Any thoughts from fans?

I don't know if he does or not. I've only read about 15 or the 40 or so books he's read. Great fun, I'm kinda bummed out that he's got Alzheimer's'. Maybe he'll get a few more books out.

I didn't know that he has Alzheimer's -that is tragic. One of the funniest books I've ever read was published posthumously because the author committed suicide. He was despondent over not being able to get the book published. It won a Pulitzer. Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole. Now that I think about it I think the central character Ignatius was an Aspie.

I really love christopher moore for humor, he is IT as far as I'm concerned. Very funny, you suck or a dirty job were great books.

Now I am intrguied and will try myself some terry pratchet, just never got around to trying him, thanks!
