Yes, I like her late 90s stuff. Her early stuff I absolutely can't stand. "I Will Always Love You" is a horrible song.

I like her, I loved her in the 9 to 5 movie. Whitney Houston sang I Will Always Love You in the movie Bodyguard with Kevin Costner, she made it famous.

I used to like her music, but her means of death seems to have tarnished my enjoyment.

The only record of hers I ever bought was "Saving all my love for you" in 1985 .

Good looks, and a superb vocalist.

So its hard to actively dislike her. But I never really was actively "into" her music either. She was just part of the musical wall paper of the Eighties and Nineties.

In the Eighties I worked in a little warehouse that had top 40 radio blaring all of the time.

So you would hear her hits constantly. One day the boss was on the adding machine while "You Give Good Love" came on, and he playfully starting singing along- but changed the lyrics to "you give good head"(just saying out loud what I was already thinking about what the song suggests). Needless to say that song became a major annoyance for me for ever after that . Like a squeeky wheel on a machine. But thats her only "annoying song" for me.

My mom played one of her albums a lot. I still love the song "I wanna dance with somebody."
