Today on August 20th, the father of modern horror fiction turns 135!
Anyone have a favorite Lovecraft story?

I really enjoyed the Mountain of Madness and especially the stories that include Cthulhu

Indeed, he's one of my very favorite authors.
I especially like The Dunwich Horror, Nyarlathotep, and Rats In The Walls, among others.

I actually bought a collection of his books at Goodwill the other day. I keep telling myself I'm going to read them someday. :)

I've watched and enjoyed several movies inspired by his works like Dagon and The Dunwich Horror. Plus I've played video games inspired ny his works like the Japanese horror game Siren
